The Fair Chance for Special Needs After School Enrichment Program is a non-profit organization. The program is designed and run by highly qualified and trained professionals in the field of special education, using a unique curriculum developed by special educators with years of experience, expertise, and knowledge in the field. Its mission is to provide a safe, reliable, nurturing, quality after-school program for students and young adults with special needs, where they will continue to learn, grow, thrive, blossom, communicate, socialize, and have fun beyond school hours. The program offers a non-judgmental learning environment where students and young adults with special needs can socialize, learn, have fun, and thrive after school hours, and it provides state-of-the-art enrichment programs for students with special needs. Fair Chance is now a vendor of the Regional Center of East Bay, with vendor number PB1945. The founder and managing director is Shirin Kamal, who helped start the program after working in the California educational system for more than 15 years and seeing the need for an after-school enrichment program for special needs. The program schedule allows parents the convenience to work and maintain full-time jobs instead of being forced to pick their students up right after school.
