About
The SAUSD Early Childhood Education Program focuses on early learning for young children. The program uses a whole child approach that keeps each child healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. Families can use an online enrollment link to begin registration and can view classroom learning through the program’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

The mission of the SAUSD Early Childhood Education Department is to ensure that children enter Kindergarten healthy and ready to learn, with an overarching goal of the long-term development and success of all children. The program offers high quality preschool programs and support services in partnership with the California Department of Education, First 5 Orange County, and other community partners. The program is led by Keely Orlando, Director of Early Childhood Education.
