The Culinary Arts Program offers activities such as cooking and career exploration. Classes are held at the B. Robert Burdo Culinary Arts Center, a 22,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. Students gain practical, hands-on experience at the SRJC Culinary Café & Bakery and a full-service restaurant open to the public.
• Schedule: Classes are scheduled in 8-week blocks, allowing year ‘round entry into the program. 8-week sessions

The Culinary Arts faculty consists of industry professionals with extensive backgrounds in the food and beverage industry. The program is led by Betsy Fischer, the Department Chair, and Madeline Giltner, the Administrative Assistant. It is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Santa Rosa Junior College acknowledges gathering on the territorial traditional land of the Pomo People.
