Kid Street Charter School Dance Program

The Kid Street Charter School Dance Program includes a variety of activities such as performing arts, drama, sports, dance, service learning, cooking, science/engineering, art, and gardening. The program is part of Kid Street Charter School, which was founded in 1992 and became a charter school in 1999.

Kid Street Charter School is led by Kathleen Mallamo, the Principal and Executive Director, and Angel Dickey Gray, who serves as the Office Manager, Enrollment Coordinator, Student Information and Data Specialist, Attendance Officer, Volunteer Coordinator, and Head of Purchasing. The school emphasizes small class sizes, instruction aides in every classroom, and a one-to-one device ratio. It has partnered with 'Be A Mentor' for volunteer system management and fully embraces the challenging Common Core standards. The school's mission is "Teach to the heart, and the mind will follow!"
