Summer Adventure Day Camp and Sports Camps

Summer Adventure Day Camp and Sports Camps offers day camp and sports camp options under the Sonoma County Family YMCA. The program runs with structured camp hours and follows YMCA camping practices that have been in place for more than 100 years.

• Ages: 6–13 years old
• Schedule: Summer Adventure Day Camp and Sports Camps hours are 7am–6pm, Monday–Friday
• Price: $65 per day - Facility Member; $70 per day - Program Member; There is a 3 day per week minimum.; $30 per session for Day and Sports Camps deposit; $50 per session for Camp Ravencliff deposit; $50 for CIT Program deposit; $15 per session for participants receiving financial assistance deposit; Counselor in Training Program (CIT) Program Fee: $175 per participant; Camp Ravencliff $875 per session - Facility Member; $985 per session - Program Member; CILT First-time CILT: $1,000; Returning CILT: $800

Camp staff training includes camp safety, activity planning, CPR, and First Aid. YMCA camps are described as a safe and nurturing place where children build self esteem, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility for themselves and the world around them. The Sonoma County Family YMCA states that it is an inclusive, charitable organization that enriches community through Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The YMCA offers reduced rates for income-eligible families who wish to participate in camping programs, and financial assistance is available. All camper Health History and Medical Release forms are due on the first day of camp, and a copy of each child’s immunization record is required due to American Camp Association regulations. One parent shared that their son was very anxious about attending camp, but after the first day he said he loves it and now responds with excitement when told it is a camp day.
