Sonoma County Family YMCA Summer Camp

Sonoma County Family YMCA Summer Camp includes Summer Camp, Adventure Camps, Sports Camps, Camp Ravencliff, and CIT/Teen Camp. Children younger than 6 years old are permitted to attend only if they have completed a year of Kindergarten/TK, and each camp has more specific age requirements.

About the provider

The Sonoma County Family YMCA was founded in 1954 in Sonoma County. Its history notes that Indian Guides and Summer Camp programs serve youth and families, and that aquatic, sports, and family programs expanded after the physical education facility was built in 1972. The mission statement says it is an inclusive, charitable organization that enriches community through Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. Each summer, the Y provides opportunities to 3,000+ youth to explore and experience new adventures, regardless of ability to pay.

Financial assistance is available. Children younger than 6 years old will be permitted to attend camp ONLY if they have completed a year of Kindergarten/TK. All deposits are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed days at camp, for cancellations after start of camp, or for campers suspended or expelled from camp.
