Neighborhood Youth Camps

Neighborhood Youth Camps offers activities that include arts, crafts, sports, STEM, recreational games, special presentations, field trips, swimming field trips, soccer, and team challenges. Camp sessions also feature exploration of different art styles and mediums, hands-on projects, and classic camp games and activities.

• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Seasonal camps during spring, summer, fall, and winter breaks, with sessions ranging from 3-day camps to a six-week summer day camp
• Price: Spring Break Camp fee: $15. Spring Break Soccer Camp fee: $10. Recreation Sensation Summer Day Camp fee: Free. Fall Break Camp fee: $10. Winter Break Camp fee: $10. Artistic Ventures Exploration Camp fee: $10.

Neighborhood Youth Camps is part of Neighborhood Services, which offers a variety of camp opportunities to Santa Rosa youth. Camp staff and volunteers incorporate asset-building lessons and skills into all camps, and the camps serve as an intervention strategy to negative attributes that may occur in various neighborhoods. Recreation Sensation Summer Day Camp is a six-week camp that includes academics, arts, sports, and swimming field trips, and participants in this camp must attend all six weeks. Spring Break Soccer Camp includes an exciting and competitive soccer tournament with fast-paced games and team challenges. Fall Break Camp and Winter Break Camp are described as keeping children busy and engaged during school breaks. Artistic Ventures Exploration Camp is described as a creative camp for young artists to explore different art styles and mediums through fun, hands-on projects blended with classic camp games and activities.
