• Schedule: During each YES! Parks program, up to 30 teens meet with Regional Parks staff for seven full-day themed educational excursions and one weekend camping trip.
• Price: Regional Parks offers YES! Parks free of charge.

Since 2017, Sonoma County Regional Parks has offered the YES! Parks programs, which are described as award-winning. Programs are led by experienced Regional Parks outreach staff. YES! Parks programs introduce local teens to the wonder and beauty of Sonoma County's parklands and emphasize experiential learning and stewardship. Each program includes field trips and guest speakers from environmental organizations and outdoor-related professions, often including biologists, ecologists, park rangers, educators, eco-tourism outfitters, and community or tribal representatives. Teens learn about the land, watershed or coast and its significance to the surrounding community, environment, economy, and culture. Programs aim to provide under-resourced youth with a roadmap for building a stronger and healthier future and aim to boost self-confidence, inspire social connections, and increase appreciation for the outdoors.

The Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation raises funds, fosters partnerships and advocates on behalf of Sonoma County Regional Parks. The Sonoma County Parks Foundation proudly supports the YES! Parks programs and each year fundraises to help offset the rising cost of transportation, food, and recreational contracts. For fiscal year 2025-26, the Parks Foundation has committed to raising $38,000 for the YES! Parks Programs.
