About the provider
San Diego Tutors has been in business since 2005. The owner and main tutor, Mrs. B, has over 40 years of experience as a teacher in special and general education, four current California teaching credentials, and a Master's Degree in Education. The FAQ text also states that she has 25 years of classroom experience, credentials covering Special Education K-12, Elementary Education, and Social Sciences, a Master's in Educational Technology, and additional certifications and experience as a Resource Specialist and ESL teacher. Mrs. Brinchman can attend IEP meetings with parents and communicate with teachers on a regular basis, if desired.
Hours listed: M-Th 9 am-7 pm PST. Grade K and high school students are tutored on a case-by-case basis for basic skills. Suggested minimum is 1-2 sessions per week for students in grades 1-8; some students attend daily.
