Sportsplex USA Youth Recreational Indoor Soccer offers youth recreational indoor soccer leagues with weekly practice sessions. Players take part in 10 regular season games and 10 weekly practice sessions as part of the league format.
• Ages: 6–15 years old
• Schedule: All age groups are coed and play on Saturdays, with 10 regular season games of 40 minutes each and 10 weekly practice sessions; practices generally start and end between 4pm and 7pm.
• Price: $139.00 per player; a $5.00 entrance fee is charged to patrons 18 years or older on Saturday game days, with a token redeemable for $3.00 toward a beverage in the on-site Sports Pub, and no entrance fee required during weekly practice sessions.
All age groups are coed and scheduled on Saturdays in separate time blocks: Coed 7 & Under from 8:00am to 11:00am, Coed 9 & Under from 10:00am to 3:00pm, Coed 11 & Under from 11:00am to 4:00pm, Coed 13 & Under from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, and Coed 15 & Under from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Practice times are offered with 4:00pm and 4:50pm start times, with some later times on Tuesdays and Fridays available on a limited basis. The registration deadline is Wednesday, August 27, 2025, first practices are the week of September 8, 2025, first games are on Saturday, September 13, 2025, and the season ends on Saturday, November 15, 2025. League fees include 10 regular season games, 10 weekly practice sessions, a player jersey, and an end-of-season award for each player, and all children will have the opportunity to experience different positions and playing time.
Sportsplex USA states that its youth recreational leagues are designed to offer children a positive indoor soccer experience by focusing on fair play, sportsmanship, fundamental skill training, understanding of the game, a healthy lifestyle, and teamwork. Sportsplex USA operates two award-winning, state-of-the-art complexes in Poway and Santee, with the Santee facility described as a state-of-the-art 20-acre facility and as San Diego's premier destination for sports, recreation, and celebration. Poway Park was established in 1994, and Santee Park opened in 2010.
Past coaching or soccer experience is not required for coaches in this program. Sportsplex USA staff provide all coaching materials, including an official youth soccer rulebook, sample drills and practice plans, coaching techniques and guidelines, and ongoing support from staff. Head coaches receive free registration for their child if selected as a youth coach, with a full refund issued after paying the full amount at registration. Required player equipment includes athletic shoes (with cleats optional), comfortable shorts, and mandatory shin guards, and a jersey is provided.
