Sailing, Seamanship, Marine Science, Art and project based learning to engage young hands and minds.


Campers will sail San Francisco Bay aboard schooner Seaward and /or brigantine Matthew Turner, exploring different locations in the Bay throughout the week. They will help the crew sail the ship, engage with and learn about marine life, learn seafaring arts such as knots and burn up extra energy with walks, games and swimming.


What is included: All craft materials, sailing & safety equipment and educational supplies are included. We also provide meals, snacks and beverages. For special dietary restrictions contact us to make arrangements, including BYO meals.


What to bring: Please send your child to camp with a backpack or bag with the following items.


  • Warm layers: Jacket, sweaters, long pants
  • Closed Toe shoes
  • Swimsuit and towel
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses and hat
  • Refillable water bottle 


Policies

Cancellation/Refund Policy

 Fees are 75% refundable up to 30 days, and 50% refundable up to 14 days before the start of each camp session. After that time there are no refunds or credits for any reason including illness, cancellation or dismissal.

Call of the Sea is an educational non-profit that connects youth to the sea, marine science and maritime traditions. We provide on-the-water field trips, sailing summer camps, sailing skills workshops and sailing experiences on traditional sailing ships for youth, families, and individuals of all ages.
