Chimera Art Space Classes offer hands-on activities that include laser cutting, 3D printing, design/CAD, jewelry making, small metal art, woodworking, stained glass, sewing, knitting, leather work, painting, drawing, welding, metalwork, electronics, robotics, and co-working. All classes are open to the public, and no membership is required to attend. Children ages 8–15 are permitted in select classes with the direct supervision of a parent or guardian, and there are no walk-ins for classes, so attendees must register in advance.

• Schedule: Class options available Monday–Sunday between 11am and 5pm; space access for members from 7am–11pm daily

Chimera Art Space Classes are part of a nonprofit community arts and makerspace that identifies as the Maker Community of Sonoma County. The organization operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit shop and co-op. Its stated mission is that Chimera Art Space is a place to unite and empower the North Bay’s creative community. Community involvement includes a once-a-month First Fridays open house with local music, live demonstrations, Old Caz beer, Longboard wines, and food where everyone is welcome. Tours are available by scheduling through email, and attendees must register for classes or request cancellations or refunds 72 hours in advance, with Eventbrite fees charged to the attendee.
