• Schedule: Open Monday–Thursday with daytime hours, shorter Friday hours, closed on weekends, with Thanksgiving Camp on 11/25, 11/26, and 11/28
• Price: Families may choose to either pay the full semester fee at the beginning of the term and receive a $20 discount per class, or divide the semester fee into five monthly payments.

Santa Cruz Learning Center offers structured, supportive, and confidence-building homeschool courses that combine academic rigor with project-based learning to develop critical thinking, creativity, and practical skills. Its STEAM Studio covers topics ranging from biology and physics to chemistry and beyond, and offers engaging camps for children ages 5–12 during school breaks, with summer camps featuring outdoor adventures every afternoon. Programs are designed for elementary through high school homeschoolers, and high school students may earn A–G credit for approved math and science courses.

The center also offers an AfterSchool Creative Adventure Camp, birthday parties with basic and full-service packages, and birthday party themes that include reptile encounters, slime making, explosive science experiments, tie-dye, jewelry design, and mini garden workshops. Comprehensive tutoring is available in person or via Zoom for K–12 subjects including math, science, English, history, Spanish, and American Sign Language, along with support for study skills, organization, reading, and writing. Test proctoring services provide a secure and supportive environment with a quiet space for testing.

Santa Cruz Learning Center provides mobile labs that bring STEAM activities to homes, community spaces, and small-group gatherings. Students are responsible for obtaining their own textbooks, most of which are available for free online, and any hardcopy textbooks should be ordered before classes begin and brought to every session. A limited number of loaner textbooks are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and families using Ocean Grove Charter School instructional funds are billed monthly through their purchase order and are not eligible for the $20 discount. Elementary children are supervised until an approved adult picks them up, and there is space for middle and high school students to wait quietly between classes.

Semester fees paid in full are non-refundable, but any remaining value may be applied as credit toward future services. The center is closed during winter break, spring break, and major holidays, and summer hours vary and can be checked via important dates or Google Calendar. An Amazon Wishlist is available for families who want to support the center with materials.
