Join The Band Summer Music Camps

Join The Band Summer Music Camps include Rock Band Music Camp, where campers play in a band under the guidance of professional musicians. Campers play in a band with kids of a similar age and level, work on songs that they and their bandmates choose, and receive instruction and playing tips for their instrument. Campers also work on arranging skills, rehearsal techniques, proper use of live sound equipment including amplifiers and microphones, improvisation (soloing) skills, learning the role of each instrument in a band, and team work, and can join summer music camps featuring Songwriting, Recording, and Production.

• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Rock Music Camps are held throughout the summer in weekly sessions, with Rock Band Music Camp meeting Monday through Friday and Advanced Rock Band Camps also meeting Monday through Friday.

For over 28 years, Join The Band has offered music lessons and band programs, including summer music camps. Rock Band Music Camp bands are guided by professional musicians, camp songs are worked on with qualified Join The Band Band Leaders, and the music camp program uses experienced music teachers. Campers need to bring a lunch, and the studio has a microwave and water available. Join The Band is described as the most reviewed music lessons studio in the Sherman Oaks community, and its students and bands have been featured in Dave Grohl’s film “Play,” with a Join The Band group, Lemonfrogs, named winners of KCRW’s Young Creator’s Project.
