Mountain Meadows Bible Camp offers overnight camps and retreats that include a Friend-Raiser event with activities and food. The Friend-Raiser event gives attendees a chance to meet the summer staff, enjoy the planned activities, share a meal, and pray for the summer season.

Mountain Meadows Bible Camp is a ministry of Shasta Christian Youth, a non-profit organization that has been serving the people of northern California since 1958. The camp’s mission is to use its resources to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with family, friends, and youth of the north state, and to educate campers and staff in the principles of Christian living based on Biblical truth. Its vision includes cultivating a servant’s heart, increasing knowledge and memory of God’s word, encouraging active participation in local churches, and igniting a passion for missions and evangelism. Mountain Meadows Bible Camp and Conference Center has offered overnight camps and retreats since 1958, and Shasta Christian Youth is run by a non-denominational board of men from various local churches. The leadership team includes Camp Director Paul Wiens, Camp Nurse Shaelah Wiens, Facilities lead Merlin Weber, and Program Director Caleb Rowe, along with board members Shawn Bainbridge, Mark Boyle, Steve Kerns, Mark McKinley, Dale Pack, and Jim Weaver. The camp also provides a Weaver Family Fund for donations to assist with medical bills and loss of house for the Weaver family. If a parent wants to send mail to a camper, it needs to be addressed to the camper’s name, care of Mountain Meadows Bible Camp, and mail may take five days to arrive.
