Mountain Meadows Bible Camp offers overnight summer camp sessions that focus on Bible teaching in a camp setting. The program includes multiple summer camp sessions in 2026, with registration beginning on May 1st.

Since 1958, Mountain Meadows Bible Camp has operated as part of Shasta Christian Youth, a non-profit organization that has offered overnight camps and retreats in northern California. The camp’s mission is to use its resources to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with family, friends, and youth of the north state, and to educate campers and staff in principles of Christian living based on Biblical truth. Shasta Christian Youth is run by a non-denominational board of men from various local churches.
The leadership team includes Camp Director Paul Wiens, Camp Nurse Shaelah Wiens, Facilities lead Merlin Weber, and Program Director Caleb Rowe. Board members include Shawn Bainbridge from Neighborhood Church of Anderson/Cottonwood, Mark Boyle from Cottonwood Community Church, Steve Kerns from Oak Grove Bible Fellowship, Mark McKinley from Neighborhood Church of Anderson/Cottonwood, Dale Pack from Cottonwood Community Church, and Jim Weaver from Shasta Community Church. Families sending mail to a camper are instructed to address it to the camper’s name, care of Mountain Meadows Bible Camp, at 7100 Arrowhead Road in Shingletown, CA 96088, and are advised that mail may take five days to arrive and that mail sent to the PO Box in Redding may not reach the camper during their stay.
