Boom Squad Academy focuses on dance and performance, including freestyle skills, storytelling, performance techniques, and stage presence. The program is connected with BOOMSQUAD, which is known for colorful clown attire and face paint, as well as high-energy performances that engage audiences of all ages. Boomer the Clown will provide consistent and accessible spaces that get youth “hype” to learn dance while building community values.

BOOMSQUAD was founded in 2014 by Boomer the Clown. For over 15 years, Boomer the Clown has worked with youth throughout Los Angeles, providing a positive outlet through the art of Clown Dance. BOOMSQUAD was founded in 2014 with a mission to inspire, mentor, and empower youth through dance, performance, creativity, and community engagement.
BOOMSQUAD performs at community events, schools, churches, festivals, parties, fundraisers, and special events throughout Southern California. The organization uses dance, entertainment, and mentorship to create opportunities for youth while promoting positivity, education, family involvement, and community pride. BOOMSQUAD is described as more than a dance team: a family, a mentorship program, and a community movement. BOOMSQUAD encourages young people to pursue careers in the arts, entertainment, entrepreneurship, media production, and community leadership.
