About

Bay Area Ballet Conservatory offers training in classical ballet and other complimentary dance forms. Students take ballet classes rooted in the Russian Vaganova training method, which emphasizes strong technical ability, generous epaulement, and a deep understanding of musicality. The program includes performance experiences such as an annual year-end concert, The Nutcracker, and additional performing opportunities and competitions for certain students.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

All students may participate in an annual year-end concert, and students age 5 and up audition for The Nutcracker. Each level is carefully crafted to incorporate the building blocks needed before advancing to a new level, and students in Level 4A and up receive invitations to join Bay Area Ballet Youth Company (BABYC). BABYC dancers benefit from additional performing opportunities, competitions, and serving surrounding communities. Faculty are highly trained professionals who possess years of experience, degrees, professional performing careers, and a gift for working with aspiring youth.
