Evolve Training Center

Evolve Training Center offers Jiu Jitsu for kids, Muay Thai for kids, and self defense training, along with related BJJ and Muay Thai classes. The program also includes Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and fitness options for adults, so parents and children can train in the same place.

Evolve Training Center was established in 2011 and is run and operated by Coach J Janero and Coach Mark Tabuso. Coach J Janero has lineage through Rickson Gracie and the Ribeiro brothers, and Jane is described as an incredible black belt and coach. The coaches are described as having decades of experience. The program’s mission is stated as “Rooted in Martial Arts, Family and Community.”

Families describe Evolve Training Center as family-friendly, welcoming, and more than just a martial arts gym, with members treated as family and an emphasis on a culture that values growth. Multiple parents note that it is a family oriented environment with an unmatchable community, a family-oriented, welcoming culture built on humility and respect, and a zero ego environment. One parent notes that classes are separated by level and that kids are partnered up equally by size. Community involvement includes encouraging kids to become young entrepreneurs at night markets, helping kids build strong relationships with their teammates at “fridate” events, and teaching them how to become future coaches and leaders to younger generations.
