South San Francisco Aquatics – Swimming Lessons offers Lap Swim, Adult Recreation, Baby/Parent Swim, and Open Rec Swim. Founded in 1971, the South San Francisco Aquatic Club (SSFAC) is a year-round, competitive youth swim program. SSFAC is a non-profit organization co-sponsored by the City of South San Francisco. Its mission states that it is committed to developing swimmers of all levels in a safe, structured, and positive environment. Orange Pool is currently closed until further notice due to a maintenance issue with the pool heater, and all regular programming and swimming lessons are currently suspended. Class schedules can be found in the Aquatics section of the Activity Guide or under the Aquatics tab on the online registration website at www.ssfca.gov/rec-catalog. Unless noted otherwise, all registrations open at 6:00 a.m. online and in-person at Orange Pool. Withdrawals and transfers must be requested in writing, and Aquatics Withdrawal and Transfer Request forms may be submitted in-person at Orange Pool or by email at [email protected]. Orange Pool rentals are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis and may be booked via email at [email protected].
