About
Sprouts Chef Training is a vocational program for young adults focused on culinary training and job placement. Youth are paired with a chef mentor and a case manager to develop skills needed to secure and maintain a culinary job.

About the provider
Sprouts launched in the Bay Area in Fall 2006 under the name "Sprouts Cooking Club." In Spring 2012, it created a Chef Training Program, and since 2021 it has focused exclusively on Sprouts Chef Training. It welcomed its 100th trainee in November 2022, raised $400,000 at its annual gala in March 2023, and launched the Chef Training Program in NYC in Summer 2024.
