Grace Community Church Music Ministry Youth Programs

Grace Community Church Music Ministry Youth Programs includes several music groups for children and teens, such as the String Youth Orchestra Workshop and Children’s Choir. The Children’s Choir is organized into the Primary Choir and Junior Choir. The music ministry includes gifted singers and skillful instrumentalists, including both professional and lay musicians.

• Ages: 6–18 years old

Grace Community Church of the Valley conducted its first public service on July 1, 1956. The leadership team for these music programs includes Bill Brandenstein as Minister of Music, Stephen Sturz as Organist, and Kellie Cunningham as Director of Children’s Choirs. The Children’s Choir includes the Primary Choir for children age 6 through grade 2 and the Junior Choir for children in grades 3–5, and no auditions are required for the Children’s Choir. The String Youth Orchestra Workshop is meant to serve the youth of Grace Community Church who want to use their gift of music to worship the Lord through an orchestra setting. The stated mission of the music ministry is “Preparing God’s people to worship the Lord Jesus Christ through music.”
