Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake offers drama, arts and crafts, outdoor education, nutrition education, sports, and waterfront activities. Since 1992, Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California has been dedicated to creating, supporting and implementing programs through Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake and the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House. Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California is dedicated to supporting programs that improve the lives of children and their families and supports these programs through its two main programs, Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake and the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House. Camp staff are experienced and well-trained specialists in drama, arts and crafts, outdoor education, nutrition education, sports, and waterfront activities. RMHC is recognized as a public charity under Internal Revenue Code section 509(a) and has 501(c)(3) status. The program promotes individuality and self-esteem through the challenges of outdoor group living and teamwork in a supportive environment.
