U.S. Baseball Academy Summer Baseball Camp offers instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, defense, catching, and baserunning. Campers take part in situational baseball games, competition drills, and a Wiffle Ball World Series as part of the daily activities.

U.S. Baseball Academy has served more than a quarter million players over the last 10 years. The four-day instruction program is operated by U.S. Baseball Academy, described as the nation’s largest baseball camp company and the nation’s largest network of instructional programs, with more than 225 camps nationwide and operations in 45 states. The program’s mission is to help young players develop solid fundamentals and learn proper techniques at a young age. The Summer Training Program is described as a unique concept that provides young players an opportunity to take their game to the next level and is designed to develop skills in all facets of the game with an emphasis on teaching proper fundamentals and techniques.
The camp is described as having a fun-filled environment, a low player to coach ratio, prizes for winners, and providing all participants with a t-shirt and camp certificate. Pre-registration is required, and families are given the option to register now and pay later. Camps feature age-specific sessions with instruction tailored for each ability level, and each location follows the same itinerary of drills, a low player-coach ratio, and a teaching staff of high school and/or college coaches from the local area. The program is described as a national program with a local touch, with USBA’s nationally acclaimed off-season training program locally hosted by baseball coaches in the Sutter area.
The program is developed by a national coaching and advisory staff that includes Major League players Adam Eaton, Travis Shaw, and Craig Stammen. Players of all ability levels are described as being challenged with specific skill instruction and drill work, with drill progressions focused on developing good habits while improving overall baseball skills. Stewart Peterson is listed as the head coach for Sutter Union HS.
