Summer Adventure Camp includes chances to create fantastic works of art, participate in fun and engaging games, and learn new sports skills. Campers take part in STEM experiments, enjoy pool days, and go to the skate park on Skate Park Wednesday. The program also includes a trip to explore tide pools, a color run, a summer festival, and several movie field trips, such as Toy Story 5, Minions 3, the live-action Moana, and a field trip to a water park.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday organized play and activities, offered in weekly sessions across eight weeks (Week 1–Week 8)

Summer Adventure Camp is part of the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District, which has provided recreation and parks facilities to the Greater Tehachapi Area since 1958. The program is led by district staff including Corey Torres, MPA; Taylor Davis; Kent Beal; Emily Williams; Sarai Diaz; Donna Clark; Kelsey Ketcheside; and Sierra Torres. The district states that its mission is to enrich lives and foster harmony within the community through area-wide leisure services focused on healthy lifestyles, educational and recreational opportunities, public participation, and environmental and economical stewardship, supported by community outreach, programming, activities and events, and well-maintained parks and facilities. The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District has received the Ted Winslow Safety Award 2026. Community sponsors for the program include Cerro Coso - Tehachapi Campus and Terra Gen.
