About

BRUSA Volleyball offers volleyball training that includes 4v4 training, a cauldron competition format, and position-specific, focused, high rep training. Athletes work on fundamental volleyball skills such as passing, serving, setting, and hitting, along with skills development, game strategy, and competitive play. The program also uses 4v4 played in a positional structure to transfer skills to 6v6 and offers Premier, Regional, and Local competition levels.

• Ages: 9–18 years old
• Schedule: Options include six-week High School Boys QUAD sessions, August and September 14 & Under Skills Development sessions, Summer Volleyball Camp sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, and Premier, Regional, and Local team practices multiple times per week.
• Price: High School Boys QUAD $300 per 6-week session; 14 & Under Skills Development $299 per session; Summer Volleyball Camp $115 per session.

At the Premier level, BRUSA Volleyball holds 3 practices per week at 2 hours each, while the Regional level holds 2 practices per week at 2 hours each, and the Local level holds 2 practices per week at 1.5 hours each. The High School Boys QUAD uses structured 4v4 training and a cauldron competition format with the stated goal of providing club-like training, competition, and fun without the commitment, cost, and struggle of a regular boys program, and it is described as being designed to build boys volleyball in the Valley. The 14 & Under Skills Development program is described as an intensive volleyball training program designed to elevate an athlete’s game to the next level, and the Summer Volleyball Camp is described as offering a mix of skill development, energy, and fun in a positive and encouraging environment. The Local level is described as emphasizing developmental playing time where all athletes compete and meaningful court time is the goal for everyone. BRUSA states that, in its mission, recruiting means helping every serious athlete find the right fit, with a priority on life after college, academic opportunity, and a realistic balance of level and enjoyment, and that not every athlete is on the same path, which is something the program respects and celebrates.
