About the provider
Soccer Shots was formed in 1997 and began franchising in 2005. The program says every coach must complete a comprehensive training program to receive certification. It says its mission is to positively impact children’s lives through an age-appropriate, expert-designed curriculum taught by fully-trained coaches in a safe environment called Soccer Island. It also says the program is the #1 Children’s Fitness Franchise in the U.S. and the #1 youth soccer program, and that there were over 560,000 enrollments in Soccer Shots programming in 2023.
The source says programs may vary by location. Coaches are trained in developmentally appropriate techniques, and cancellations due to weather or other circumstances are proactively communicated.
What families say
“Glad we found Soccer Shots! “Watching my daughter grow, starting in Mini and moving into Classic, has been a blast. She went from holding my hand to walking across Soccer Island to running away from me as soon as she saw her coach. She’s learning soccer skills, taking turns, independence, how to cheer for others, and so much more. I’m so glad we found Soccer Shots!”” — Nicole, Kalamazoo, MI
“Absolutely loved the program “Our instructor was great. We have signed up for the summer season and can’t wait to start.”” — Tony, Phoenix, AZ
“Amazing coaches and program. I have seen so much growth in my daughter over the months she has been with Soccer Shots!” — Brittany, Dallas, Texas
