About
Kid’s World Preschool Summer Camp includes science and nature exploration, creative arts, performing arts, sports, games, and outdoor play. Campers take part in building projects, experiments, design challenges, board games, team challenges, imaginative games, and on-campus events. Activities also include photography, videography, drawing, painting, group performances, discussions, and debates.

Kid’s World Preschool uses a proprietary Links to Learning curriculum with activity blocks called Discover, Play, Create, Wonder, and Learn. Families receive daily updates through the Links 2 Home app, monthly folders to track each child’s progress and offer at-home activities, and assessments and conferences for ongoing dialogue about child development and goals. Nutritious lunch is served on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are bring-a-lunch days, and morning and afternoon snacks are served daily. The program includes a Pre-K 2 option for children ages 5 to 6 who miss the kindergarten cut-off date and has a nearby sister school, Van Avery Prep, for continued education. Summer camp includes special guests and on-campus events.
Camp counselors receive extensive programming and health and safety training. Teachers participate in ongoing professional development; complete background and reference checks, credential verification, and interviews; receive training in emergency preparedness including CPR, first aid, and allergy protocol; and receive trainings in child abuse awareness and prevention, supervision techniques, and behavior management. Security measures include restricted access to enrolled families, staff, and registered visitors; visitor check-in with ID and visitor badge; and release of children only to authorized adults.
Since 1980, Kid’s World Preschool has been a member of the Temecula community. The child care center is accredited by the National Private School Accreditation Group. Kid’s World Preschool engages in charitable events as part of its culture of giving back to those in need, helping students appreciate what they have, increase their self-esteem, show gratitude, and see the impact of their actions. Kid’s World Preschool states that it is committed to providing exceptional daycare and preschool education in a nurturing environment where children thrive, combining learning and play in a fun, safe, and nurturing child care environment, and preparing children for elementary school and beyond by developing important academic, social, and emotional skills.
