AYSO Region 9 Youth Soccer Programs offers a variety of soccer options, including a Winter League, an Adult Winter League, an AYSO Adult League, a 4U/5U Program, an EPIC Program, Region 9's EXTRA and AYSO United Programs, and AYSO PLAY!. The program also features special events and initiatives such as Pot O' Gold 2026, World Cup 2026 Player Registration for Fall 2026, and a partnership naming BEEUP Snacks as the Official Fruit Snack Partner for the 2025–2026 season. Kids Zone is included as part of the overall program offerings.

The mission statement for the American Youth Soccer Organization is providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. Michael Karon, President of AYSO, leads the organization and was recognized with the Stack Leadership Award by Stack Sports for his impact in the world of sports volunteering. Community involvement includes work with Chicago Public Schools to enhance youth sports programming, a partnership with the US Center for Mental Health & Sport focused on player and volunteer wellness, and a partnership with the Northland Sports Alliance to expand soccer programming in Kansas City.
