About the provider

Twenty plus years ago, a handful of musicians in the Yorba Linda area formed the Yorba Linda Orchestra Association, and the Young Artists Solo Competition was held within the first year of the organization. The organization later changed its name to the Southern California Philharmonic. Its mission is to promote a culturally rich and connected community by staging live performances of orchestral masterworks for the public and by advancing educational opportunities for future generations of musicians and leaders.
