Stream of Praise Children’s Creative Worship School

Stream of Praise Children’s Creative Worship School includes worship, dance, singing, games, drums, 音樂, 藝術, 團隊合作, 禱告, 讀經, and 靈修. Children take part in activities such as 跳舞, 歌唱, and playing drums as part of the creative worship focus.

Stream of Praise Children’s Creative Worship School is part of Stream of Praise Music Ministries, which was founded in 1993 and became a nonprofit organization in California in 1995. The Children’s Creative Worship School was established in 2008, has produced children’s worship albums since 2009, and began local children’s creative worship schools in Hong Kong in 2014 and children’s creative worship special conferences in Taiwan in 2015. The program’s mission states that it trains children to become worshipers and intercessors in this generation, to build a close relationship with God, and to make worship a daily lifestyle.

The curriculum uses group worship time, prayer, Bible reading, music, and art to lead children to learn to love God. It also uses 跳舞, 歌唱, 音樂, 藝術, and 團隊合作 to explore the gifts God gives and to use these creative expressions in worship. Children practice daily 靈修, listen for God the Father’s voice, and worship with spirit and truth, with an emphasis on experiencing transformation and renewal in worship. Since 2009, the ministry has produced dedicated children’s worship albums with singable songs so that children can worship God every day, and the Stream of Praise children’s worship app offers all children’s album MVs without ads, regular updates of new children’s worship albums, and original devotional teaching materials.

The leadership team includes Rev. Sandy Yu (游智婷牧師), founder and director of Stream of Praise Music Ministries, producer of all Stream of Praise albums, and a main worship leader. The program is overseen by teacher Ely Tai (戴伊蓉老師), who graduated from Life Pacific University with a major in education, serves as the superintendent of Stream of Praise Children’s School in the United States, and coordinates the international children’s creative worship schools. Ely Tai has served children in the United States, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mexico, and at a homeless rescue center for over 25 years.

Parent feedback describes children who were previously shy during worship now leading other children to worship and dance in church meetings. Parents report that their children enjoy singing, dancing, learning God’s word, playing games with teachers and classmates, and using devotional books to build regular Bible reading and time learning God’s word.
