About
Near & Arnold’s School of Performing Arts & Cultural Education (SPACE) offers activities in Music Together, Contemporary Dance, Street Dance, Musical Theater, Acting, and Improvisation. The program also features original student choreography in a showcase called “5-6-7-ATE” and an original full-length dance production titled “Forces of Nature.” SPACE operates as an innovative year-round afterschool performing arts program and is described as a vital beacon for hundreds of children and their families.

SPACE’s mission is to empower youth to discover and trust in their innate ability to be creative, responsible, and compassionate individuals through training in dance, theater, music, and cultural education. It is an acclaimed afterschool performing arts program offering performing arts classes for ages infant to teens and is a 501(C)(3) public benefit organization.
SPACE & Pomo Summer & Circus Camp present Cirque-A-Palooza, a special benefit that supports the Pomo Summer Arts & Circus Camp and the SPACE Scholarship Program.
