College of the Siskiyous Summer Youth Camps include hands-on activities such as climbing ladders, performing rope rescues, extinguishing real fires, learning life-saving CPR and first aid, and experiencing fighting wildland fires at Kids Fire Camp. The camps also offer ball handling, shooting, offense, passing, defense, and fundamentals at Basketball Camp, as well as volleyball skills at Volleyball Camp. Summer Show Choir and Jazz Camp includes singing and dancing with instruction by respected Jazz and Show Choir directors, composers, and choreographers in the United States.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Kids Fire Camp runs for three days; Basketball Camp is a four-day camp held Monday–Thursday, June 16–19, with separate morning and afternoon groups; Summer Show Choir and Jazz Camp runs a full week from Sunday–Saturday, June 22–28; Volleyball Camp runs Tuesday–Thursday, July 22–24, with separate morning and afternoon groups.
• Price: Kids Fire Camp is a free camp for all 3rd to 8th graders; Basketball Camp costs $60–$70 for ages 5–8 and $110–$120 for ages 9–14; Summer Show Choir and Jazz Camp costs $44 for both California residents (with K–12 fee waiver) and out-of-state day campers; Volleyball Camp costs $100 pre-registration, $110 walk-up, or $40 per day walk-up only.

Kids Fire Camp provides all equipment and lunch for all three days, and participants may be asked to run, climb, or lift objects. Basketball Camp requires a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian, and payments are made to COS Men's Basketball. Volleyball Camp also requires a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian, and payments are made to COS Volleyball.

Basketball Camp is led by Kyle Heath, COS Men's Basketball Head Coach and Camp Director. Summer Show Choir and Jazz Camp is directed by Ron Slabbinck. Volleyball Camp is directed by Lyndi Scholl. At Basketball Camp, campers receive instruction from Kyle Heath and current or former players, a t-shirt, a free pass to all Siskiyous home basketball games, and daily awards. At Volleyball Camp, each camper receives a t-shirt and daily awards are given out. Kids Fire Camp is described as a chance for participants to step into the boots of a real firefighter and tackle hands-on challenges. The College of the Siskiyous has worked with the Red Cross to become a shelter in severe weather and emergency situations.
