West Covina Girls Softball

West Covina Girls Softball is an organization consisting solely of volunteers that teaches the game of softball. The program gives young ladies of the West Covina community and surrounding cities the opportunity to compete in a safe, fun, and healthy environment.

• Price: $100 snack bar deposit refund upon completion of 4 hours; no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the $100 refund

Each player is required to complete four hours of Snack Bar duty. To receive a full refund of $100, a total of four hours must be completed, and no-shows result in forfeiting the $100 refund. Snack Bar deposit reimbursement checks are available in the snack bar every Saturday for completed hours. Workers in the Snack Bar must be at least 17 years old, and only one worker is allowed per time slot. Children are not permitted in the Snack Bar during working hours. Same-day cancellations are not permitted, and a 24-hour cancellation is required via Sign-Up Genius. If the Snack Bar is closed due to weather or canceled games, it is the parents' responsibility to reschedule. The program is described as a B-Division elite community softball program with competitive play. The organization states that its objective is to teach the game of softball while sustaining a culture in which coaches, parents, fans, umpires, and players work together to promote great sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect, upholding the Girls League virtues of character, courage, loyalty, and community.
