Sporting Football Club offers players participation in CSL, UPSL Academy, and UPSL DIV 1. Training at Sporting Football Club includes technical development, team tactical principles, and sessions organized using 6-week periodization plans that reflect the club’s playing style. Each team’s 6-week periodization plan is based on data collection from game trend scenarios determined by the coach, and coaches use a 6-week work cycle to work on team tactical principles and key qualities of a player.

Sporting is committed to each player’s development within the club’s organization. The club offers a wide variety of opportunity through CSL, UPSL Academy, and UPSL DIV 1, including the opportunity to develop players from youth level up to a semi-professional team in UPSL DIV 1. Sporting Football Club uses a club curriculum to guide player development through the years at the club, and this curriculum is separated into three age groups: U7–U12, U13–U15, and U16–U18. The curriculum helps players, parents, and coaches evaluate if they are on track based on Sporting’s curriculum, with a focus on growth of technical development starting at the youngest ages through the semi-professional team. Sporting Football Club states that it inspires to promote each player to the next level, whether high school, college, semi-professional, or professional, and is driven to provide a reputation within the community in developing quality soccer players. The club states that it wants to encourage the growth of soccer in Southern California and create a better environment for youth soccer in the United States.
