About

Offense-Defense Football Camps is an instructional football camp that includes on-field training, Standard Athletic Testing (S.A.T.), and opportunities to play in games with college and pro coaches, as rules permit. Camp activities also connect to Bowl Week events such as awards dinners, press conferences, the ODFL National tournament, Youth All-American Bowl Games, a youth football convention, and a coaches clinic.

• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: June 19–21, 2026

Offense-Defense Sports began with one instructional football camp in the summer of 1969 and has been involved with youth and high school athletes for over five decades. The program uses NFL players and coaches, along with college coaches, as part of its coaching staff, and focuses on teaching technique rather than tactics while also covering stamina, speed, and agility. Standard Athletic Testing evaluates measurable athletic traits, and coaches rank and evaluate players using a star system, with athletes ranked by position and age group locally and nationally using testing, evaluations, and coach feedback. Each player receives an evaluation from the coaching staff and dedicated regional scouts using a modified pro-style system, and campers get free online access to a personal Placement, Recruiting, and Exposure (PREview) profile. Offense-Defense reports that over 600 alumni from its camps and Bowl have gone on to the NFL, that 28 of 32 NFL teams have active alumni, and that it has the largest number of FBS Division I signees, with more players placed in college and the NFL than any other football showcases or training organizations in the United States. In addition to the camp, Offense-Defense runs football showcases and player development clinics nationwide with commuter and overnight options, non-contact and full-contact curriculum, and a progressive curriculum developed by its NFL and college coaching staff. The end-of-year Offense-Defense All-American Bowl Week is a week-long series of events, highlighted by games where 80 of the top high school athletes across the country are invited to play, and past Bowl participants include Cam Newton, Dez Bryant, Joe Haden, Rolando McClain, Earl Thomas, Golden Tate, and Carlos Dunlap. The organization states that players learn safe, game-winning techniques, tenacity, fair play, and teamwork, and that its network of scouts and recruiting partners is unrivaled in the industry, offering tools for building a comprehensive football profile. Offense-Defense also states that the love of Jesus compels it to serve others, that it believes everyone has been created on purpose and for a purpose, and that competing according to the word of God, by the power of God, and for the glory of God can close the gap between performance and potential.
