Dragonfire Farm Summer Camps offers riding lessons that include flat (dressage) lessons, jump lessons in stadium or cross country, and basic riding. Campers take part in horse grooming, tacking up, cross country schooling, competition preparation, team activities, arts and crafts, horse themed games, fun games, leisurely trail rides, poolside fun in Dragonfire’s swimming pool, and cool-down sessions. The program also includes equipment and safety inspections, practical veterinary knowledge, equipment identification, assembly, and maintenance, discussions on rules of competing, competition strategy and mental preparation, and an end-of-camp exam.

• Schedule: 4-day training experiences in summer 2026, including daytime and overnight sessions
Dragonfire Farm Summer Camps runs 4-day training experiences on July 7–10 and July 28–31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with extended hours available by arrangement for an additional cost, and an overnight session June 16–19. Daily equipment and safety inspections are part of the camp routine, and campers learn the names of various training tools and why to use them. Horsemanship is central to the program’s mission.
Dragonfire Farm was established in 1977 and is a family owned and operated business managed by the McFall family, with three generations of equestrians and over a century of combined horsemanship and show ring experience. The leadership team includes Earl McFall, an International Three-Day Event rider and advanced 4-star competitor; Jennifer (Jen) McFall, an International Three-Day Event rider and internationally accomplished 5-star level event rider; Taylor McFall, an International Three-Day Event rider and 3-star level event rider who competed with the USEA Junior Olympic squad; and Cheron Laboissonniere, a World Champion Dressage rider. Instructors at the camp have taught first-time riders through top level competitors, and the McFalls bring decades of combined experience in competing, training, and horsemanship, with proven success working alongside world-class riders and horses.
Dragonfire Farm’s program is described as a world-class facility with a lively, outgoing, and encouraging atmosphere and a unique breeding program that has produced many champions with notable show careers in a variety of disciplines. Campers are split into riding groups based on their experience level, and the camp notes a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment with personalized attention and tailored instruction in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and mutual respect. Photos capturing special moments are taken throughout camp, and spaces are limited.
