• Ages: 5–18 years old

Woodlake’s two tax measures, Measure R and Measure S, made it possible for the City to begin a number of new recreation programs, including youth soccer, baseball, softball, flag football, and basketball, as well as the R.O.A.R. adaptive sports and recreation programs for youth and adults with special needs. The Pre-Season Youth Flag Football Clinic is in partnership with the WHS Football Team. One-time ROAR registration qualifies participants for all ROAR events in 2026, and ROAR Family Yoga Sessions take place every Wednesday at 4:30pm. The Woodlake Tiger Sharks Recreational Swim Season runs from April to July for kids age 5–18. Woodlake Youth Wrestling Club sessions last 60–90 minutes and include warm-up drills, technique instruction, live situations, and wrestling game activities, with instruction provided by current high school and middle school coaches. Youth Introduction to Dance Class Series is offered by The Diamond Cheer & Dance Company on Thursday afternoons during the month of May for grades Kinder–8th. Woodlake Run Club meets every other Saturday morning to run or walk together. Ballet Folklorico Del Lago teaches students Mexican culture, confidence building, teamwork, and performing arts skills. Yoga and Meditation classes aim to create harmony in body, mind, and spirit to enhance wellness and personal growth. Participants in the Healing Vibrations Sound Bath are instructed to bring a blanket and pillow, and Zumba Fitness class participants are reminded to bring water and a sweat towel. As a team sponsor, a business or organization banner is hung at the field and the logo is included in the Season Information Packet. The community of Woodlake was founded in 1912.
