Woodlake’s two tax measures, Measure R and Measure S, made it possible for the City to begin a number of new recreation programs, including these youth sports and the R.O.A.R. Program (Rethought Opportunities for Adaptive Recreation) offering adaptive sports and recreation programs for youth and adults with special needs. The pre-season baseball and softball clinic raises money to support the Woodlake High School baseball and softball teams, and the Equipment Exchange Event is described as local families helping local families. The ROAR Basketball Clinic is held in partnership with the Woodlake Youth Ballers, and the Woodlake Tiger Sharks recreational swim team competes against other teams in the CVRSL Swim League. Team sponsors have their business or organization name on the back of team jerseys, a banner hung at the field, and their logo in the Season Information Packet.

Youth Baseball and Softball registration begins in February, with a season from April to May that concludes before school lets out for the summer. Youth Flag Football registration begins in April, with a season from June through July and games on weeknights plus one Opening Saturday game. Youth Soccer registration begins in early July and closes toward the end of August, with a season from September to the end of October or early November. Youth Basketball registration begins in October, with a season from January after Winter Break through March and games on both weeknights and Saturdays. The March Family Yoga Series meets every Wednesday at 4:30pm throughout March, and the ROAR Basketball Clinic is scheduled for Thursday, March 26 from 6–7pm. The Woodlake Tiger Sharks recreational swim season usually begins in the middle of April and runs through the middle of July, with practices Monday through Thursday, and all swimmers must take a 25-yard swim test, with parents accompanying swimmers 6 and under.

Youth Baseball and Softball registration includes a jersey, hat, and socks, and the Equipment Exchange Event gives families a chance to exchange equipment their child has outgrown. For the Woodlake Tiger Sharks, participants are asked to bring a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen and be ready to get in the pool, and for Zumba fitness classes, participants are advised to bring water and a sweat towel. The program notes that a one-time ROAR registration form will qualify participants for all ROAR events in 2026. Ballet Folklorico Del Lago, led by owner and instructor Micaela Macareno, teaches children Ballet Folklorico dance and emphasizes the importance of culture, art, and teamwork. Zumba fitness classes are taught by instructor Veronica Benavides, and Alex Rodriguez is listed as the contact for Woodlake Youth Ballers, while Jennifer at the City of Woodlake is listed as the contact for sports and recreation programs. The City states that it is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
