Jay Nolan Camp offers activities such as archery, a rock climbing wall, swimming, an outdoor theater, wilderness safety, hiking and nature walks, and arts and crafts. Campers also take part in costume and theme meals, campfire sing-alongs, a camp dance, a talent show, scavenger hunts, plant and animal identification, and ecology and geology activities. Counselors are carefully matched with campers to build friendships based on trust, respect, and common interests.
The mission of Jay Nolan Recreational Services is to make social recreational services accessible to everyone, fostering inclusivity and community engagement through diverse and enriching activities, and to ensure that individuals of all abilities can participate, thrive, and enjoy recreational experiences that promote well-being and social connection. The staff are specially trained to meet the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of all campers, and the staff celebrate differences and seek the unique talents and abilities in every camp participant. Jay Nolan Summer Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). The camp is described as an inclusive camp for kids with and without disabilities, with a focus on inclusivity and neurodiversity so young minds can learn, play, and grow together, and it fosters an environment that celebrates diversity and empowers every child to embrace their individuality. Scholarships are available, applications for Jay Nolan Camp 2026 and the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program are available, and the camp offers early registration discounts and discounts to returning campers.
