About

This summer, give your child the kind of adventure summer was meant for - days spent outside, exploring, creating, and discovering. At Sonoma Earth School, campers explore creeks and redwood groves, learn from the land, and create with their own hands. It’s a place where curiosity leads the way, friendships grow naturally, and every day brings something new to learn and love!

Our experienced mentors guide kids to explore safely, enquire creatively, and work together - developing confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong sense of wonder.

Activities may include:

  • build forts and fairy houses
  • make paint from plants
  • wade & swim the Russian River
  • learn to track animal footprints
  • craft jewelry from stones
  • cook over a campfire
  • play nature games
  • share stories under the trees

Located at Ya-Ka-Ama in beautiful West Sonoma County, our day camps welcome children ages 5 - 13 from across the Bay Area. Join us this summer for a week your child will never forget—where the forest becomes a classroom, and the best lessons come from the world around us.
