AGS Ballet Aspen

AGS Ballet Aspen offers ballet classes in a fun learning environment. Students in Primary Level are introduced to a traditional ballet class structure, students in Level 1 learn ballet positions of the feet and arms and movement fundamentals, students in Level 2A work on ballet technique, floor work, and center work, and students in Level 3C progress in ballet technique, body directions, floor, barre, and center work. Level 4 includes Ballet Technique and Pointe with teachers' permission.

Programs

• Primary Level — ages 4 and 5 · Mondays, once a week · For young dancers; students are introduced to a traditional ballet class structure in a fun environment. Students need to be ready for a class experience without a parent in the classroom.
• Level 1 — ages 6 and older · Wednesdays, once a week · Students are introduced to ballet positions of feet and arms in a fun environment, learning movement fundamentals and principles. 1 hour class.
• Level 2A — 8 years old and older or per invite · Wednesdays, once a week · Students are introduced to ballet technique, floor and center work. 1 hour class.
• Level 3C — currently in this level or per invite · Mondays and Wednesdays · Students progress in ballet technique, body directions, floor, barre and center work. 1.30 hours on Mondays and 1 hour on Wednesdays. Preparation for Pointe.
• Level 4 — middle schoolers with previous ballet experience or per invite · Mondays and Fridays · Includes Ballet Technique and Pointe, with teachers' permission. 1.30 hour class.
