City of Aurora Youth Soccer Programs offers a spring coed soccer league, a fall coed soccer league, indoor soccer in the summer, and indoor soccer in the winter. The program also includes Challenger Summer Camps and SkyHawks Winter/Spring SuperTots programs.
• Ages: 3–16 years old
• Schedule: For ages 3–15, fall outdoor includes one weekday practice chosen by the volunteer coach starting the first week in August, with a 9-game season and games mainly on Saturdays starting in mid-August.
• Price: Some fees are reduced for residents of Aurora on limited incomes.
For outdoor Youth League Play, practices are held at various city of Aurora parks or schools, and games are held at the Aurora Sports Park. For Indoor Soccer, games are played at the Southeast Recreation Center Fieldhouse. The fall 2026 Outdoor Youth League is for ages 3–15 as of 9/1/26, and the age as of 9/1/26 determines the age group players play for all seasons over the course of one full school year, with this cutoff changing to 9/1/27 in fall of 2027. Registration is open for the fall 2026 Outdoor Youth League.
All head coaches have passed a background check and attend training. The program lists Matt Barlow as Recreation Supervisor. The soccer program emphasizes the fundamentals of soccer in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The program recognizes volunteers and sponsors, and thanks volunteer coaches, referees, and sponsors for making the youth leagues possible. Recent recognitions include Spring 2026 Coach of the Season Anthony Nicholson and Referee of the Season Parker Brand; Fall 2025 Coach of the Season Jared Merrill and Referee of the Season Brooklyn Gonzales; Spring 2025 Coach of the Season Brandon Davis and Referee of the Season Sarah Grayzel-Ward; Fall 2024 Coach of the Season Teneshia Mazyck and Referee of the Season Ace Northrup; and Spring 2024 Coach of the Season Missy Leibold and Referee of the Season Melissa Bonilla.
