About
City of Aurora Youth Soccer Leagues, Clinics, and Camps offers a spring coed soccer league, a fall coed soccer league, indoor soccer in the summer and winter, Challenger Presidents Day Clinics, Challenger Summer Camps, and SkyHawks Winter/Spring SuperTots programs. The soccer program emphasizes the fundamentals of soccer in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
• Ages: 3–15 years old
• Schedule: Spring outdoor league includes one practice during the week starting the week of March 2 and a six-game season starting March 21, with practices on weeknights and games mainly on Saturdays.
All head coaches have passed a background check and attend training. The program includes a spring and fall coed soccer league for boys and girls ages 3 through 15, and indoor soccer in the summer and winter for ages 6 to 12. For Winter 2025–26, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026, the age cut-off date is 9/1/25, and age as of 9/1/25 determines the age group players play for all seasons over the course of one full year, with this cut-off changing to 9/1/26 in fall of 2026. Some fees are reduced for residents of Aurora on limited incomes. The registration system, Active Net, is available for families to create a new account.
The leadership team includes Recreation Supervisor Matt Barlow and Recreation Specialist Brooke Ballard. Recognized participants include Fall 2025 Coach of the Season Jared Merrill and Referee of the Season Brooklyn Gonzales; Spring 2025 Coach of the Season Brandon Davis and Referee of the Season Sarah Grayzel-Ward; Fall 2024 Coach of the Season Teneshia Mazyck and Referee of the Season Ace Northrup; and Spring 2024 Coach of the Season Missy Leibold and Referee of the Season Melissa Bonilla. The program thanks its volunteer coaches, referees, and sponsors for making the youth leagues possible. Access Aurora is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday via phone, and the Access Aurora desk in the Aurora Municipal Center is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for walk-in payments, advance appointments, and in-person services.
