Founded in 1967, Colorado Storm Soccer Club has provided youth soccer to Colorado communities for nearly 60 years. It operates as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a stated mission to elevate the youth soccer experience in Colorado. The club is community-powered, with local clubs united as one Storm and serving families across the Front Range and beyond, including expansion from Central Denver into Aurora and surrounding neighborhoods.

Storm invests heavily in coach development, educating and supporting over 600 coaches annually through coach education, mentorship, and resources. The club has a partnership with the Colorado Rapids that created Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club (CRYSC). It hosts some of the largest and most competitive youth soccer tournaments in the Rocky Mountain region and offers Storm Soccer Fangear.

Colorado Storm Soccer Club has been named a Top 50 Youth Soccer Club in the U.S. and was a Colorado Parent Family Favorites Soccer Program Finalist in 2018, then Best Soccer Program in 2019 and 2020. It holds a Guinness World Record for the Largest FootGolf Tournament with 310 participants and a separate Guinness World Record for an online soccer video chain. In 2021, it was recognized as an Aspen Institute Project Play Champion as the first youth soccer club in the United States honored for innovation in youth sports participation and program development. A record-breaking FootGolf event supported local after-school and youth sports programs, and the online soccer video chain connected players and supporters virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.
