Its mission is to promote environmental stewardship and community health through nature education, wildlife rehabilitation, and outdoor recreation. The organization was founded in 2018 through the merger of two longstanding organizations and offers year-round community programs and events, working with schools, scout troops, and community groups and emphasizing strong community connections and collaboration with partners.
