Andrew Skurka Adventures Guided Trips offers learning-intensive backpacking trips and a Trip Leader course. The guided trips are in southern Utah, the Brooks Range, the High Sierra, and Yellowstone, and the Trip Leader course is for people ready to be the trip planner, decision-maker, and leader for small groups of family, friends, or informal clubs.

About the provider
Andrew Skurka says he founded the program in 2011 and has led over 115 trips and spent over 550 days in the field with clients. He says the trips teach planning and field skills such as selecting gear, creating maps, and navigating on- and off-trail, and that the guide team includes Andrew Skurka, Aaron Divine, Andy Paul, Audrey Abbott, Brandon Chase, Christy Rosander, Dahn Pratt, Ella Nuttelman, Hunter Hall, Jeff Wohl, Jessica Guo, Jessica Winters, Joe McConaughy, Jose Mendez, Katie Gerber, Kat Weyland, Lindsay Priefert, Melodie Kao, Mikaela Osler, Nadine Lehner, Nicco Tyson, Nikki Mann, Samuel Novey, Sarah Stratton, Scott Christy, Tina Currin, and Witt Wisebram.
The program releases the schedule in three iterations. Iteration 1 goes live in November of the prior year; Iteration 2 is released in mid-January; Iteration 3 waits until early spring.
