About
Boulder Parks & Rec Camps offers gym games, arts and crafts, and swimming as part of its camp activities. The program includes three general recreation camps for campers ages 5 to 14.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Price: Fees are listed as resident/non-resident. Resident fee is for people who live within City of Boulder limits.
The mission statement for Boulder Parks & Rec Camps is: “Discover the magic of BPR Camps where every smile shines brighter, individuality is celebrated and adventures await for all!” Registration for Boulder Parks & Rec summer camps begins on Tuesday, Jan. 20, and waitlists are taken for filled camps. A non-refundable deposit for each camp session is due at the time of registration, and no refunds are provided 2 weeks prior to the start date.
Residents who need additional support can apply for financial aid and/or PLAYpass, and CCAP is accepted at some programs. It is recommended that families apply for financial aid by January 10, 2025, to allow time for the application to be processed and added to the account before registration. Camper paperwork is completed through an online system called ePACT, and all ePACT paperwork must be completed before the first day of camp or the child will be unable to attend.
Camper paperwork includes uploading immunization forms, medication forms signed by a doctor, health care plans for needs such as severe allergies, epi pens, and seizures, and any behavior support information. Logan Downey is listed as the contact name for City of Boulder Youth Camps, and Lori Goldman is the contact for financial aid and/or PLAYpass and CCAP information.
