CATS Gymnastics Camps include gymnastics, ninja challenges, crafts, games, parkour, aerial activities, and climbing. The program also connects families to other offerings at CATS Gymnastics, such as Ninja classes, open workouts, birthday parties, Kids Night Out, and group events.

Founded in 1988, CATS has been Boulder’s home for gymnastics and rock climbing for over 35 years and features one of the first indoor climbing walls in the nation. Camps take place in the CATS Gymnastics gym, which includes top-notch gymnastics equipment, an indoor bouldering section, and aerial fabrics. CATS is led by founders Rob Candelaria, a competitive gymnast at the University of Colorado and avid rock climber, and Wendy Rein, a rock climber, triathlete, and gymnast, who continue to lead the CATS community. The staff includes safety-focused, passionate coaches. The mission of Colorado Athletic Training School (CATS) is to help kids grow into happy, healthy, and confident individuals. CATS is affiliated with USA Gymnastics, Safe Sport, and the Positive Coaching Alliance. For over 35 years, CATS has been part of the Boulder community, including appearances tumbling down Pearl Street and bouncing on a long trampoline at the annual BolderBoulder, and it offers discounted group events for schools, youth groups, and teams. One parent shared, “I LOVE CATS! Their rec program is perfect for kids of all ages and levels… Coaches are knowledgable of gymnastics and challenge the kiddos just enough - while allowing them to have fun! CATS is a wonderful locally owned business.”
