CATS Gymnastics offers kids gymnastics, preschool classes, parent-tot classes, summer gymnastics, parkour, aerial, climbing, ninja, NinjaFit classes, crafts, games, and high-level competitive gymnastics. The program also offers youth and adult climbing, rock climbing, indoor bouldering, adult gymnastics, open workouts, birthday parties, Kids Night Out, group events, and camps. The gym features top-notch gymnastics equipment, an indoor bouldering section, and aerial fabrics.

Founded in 1988, CATS Gymnastics has been part of the Boulder community for over 35 years and is described as Boulder’s home for movement, adventure, creativity, and play. The program was founded by Rob Candelaria, a competitive gymnast at the University of Colorado and an avid rock climber, and later led together with his wife Wendy Rein, a rock climber, triathlete, and gymnast. CATS Gymnastics is affiliated with USA Gymnastics, Safe Sport, and the Positive Coaching Alliance, and is staffed by safety-focused, passionate coaches.
For over 35 years, generations of kids have trained at CATS Gymnastics, grown, and returned after graduation to coach and reconnect. The program has appeared in the community by tumbling down Pearl Street and bouncing on a long trampoline at the annual BolderBoulder, sharing its activities with the wider community. One parent, Hope Munoz, says, “I LOVE CATS! Their rec program is perfect for kids of all ages and levels. The owners, Rob and Wendy are very kind to customers and staff. Coaches are knowledgable of gymnastics and challenge the kiddos just enough - while allowing them to have fun! CATS is a wonderful locally owned business.”
