Climbing Camps at The Spot include climbing-focused Reach New Heights Camps, Rock On! Camps, and an Outdoor Summer Camp. Reach New Heights Camps are 3-hour camps that run Monday through Friday, and Rock On! Camps are 6-hour camps that also run Monday through Friday. Outdoor Summer Camp is offered as a full-week option for current Club members only.

Spot Camps are offered on Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter Breaks, and also as Day-Off Camps on days off school. The stated mission of Spot Camps is to give climbers an unforgettable experience on school holidays and to keep children moving, socializing, and learning about climbing. Pre-camp communication, invitations for feedback, and easy ways to reach staff are emphasized.

At The Spot, instructors are SafeSport-certified and trained in CPR and First Aid, and instructors are described as SafeSport-certified in the program’s credentials. The Youth Programs Coordinator is Gracey Henoch (she/her). The Spot Boulder location opened in 2002 as the first-ever bouldering gym in the United States.
