Spark Tutoring offers one-on-one academic support for kindergarten through high-school-aged students. It also offers reading support for foundational reading skills, including help with phonemic awareness difficulties and dyslexia, math support for foundational math skills and topics such as multiplication, fractions, and pre-algebra, and writing support for foundational writing skills, including support for language-based disabilities in writing and spelling.

About the provider
Spark Tutoring was founded by Karen Majesky. She has more than 16 years of experience educating students in the Boulder area and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University, an A.A.S. in Interpreter Preparation from 2000, and an Elementary Teaching License from The Stanley Teacher Preparation Program in 2005.
Karen has special expertise in phonemic awareness difficulties, dyslexia, specific language-based disabilities in writing and spelling, math difficulties, and ADHD. She uses the Lindamood-Bell program and the Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing (LiPS) Program.
