About the provider
BOEC says it has operated since 1976. Its mission is to expand the potential of people with disabilities and special needs through meaningful, educational, and inspiring outdoor experiences. BOEC serves over 2,500 participants each year, including adults and children with physical and cognitive disabilities, sensory differences, veterans and their families, and other historically disadvantaged populations.
All programs focus on strengthening communication, emphasizing abilities, challenging one's self by choice, and having a good time. Programs can be tailored to accommodate individual and group physical and cognitive abilities. BOEC offers camps and retreats for individuals and custom group programs throughout the calendar year.
