Campus Recreation offers swim lessons for children and adults. The program includes private swim lessons, one-on-one instruction, and semi-private swim lessons with 2-4 participants. Lessons are 30 or 45 minutes, and all swim instructors are nationally certified.
Programs
- Swim Lessons — adults and children of all ages and abilities; children 5 and 6 are typically recommended for 30-minute lessons depending on skill level · Private swim lessons are offered based on the mutual availability of the participant and swim instructor · One-on-one or within a small group environment; lessons are 30 or 45 minutes; instructors are nationally certified; level options include Foundations and Levels 1-5.

About the provider
Campus Recreation states that it inspires lifelong wellness by providing transformative educational and recreational opportunities that enhance the UCCS experience. The program recommends swim lessons 2-3 times per week for skill development and progression. If a swim participant is more than 15 minutes late, the participant forfeits the lesson and no make-up session is offered. If notice is given at least 24 hours before the lesson begins, the swim instructor will reschedule the lesson.
